The stories you share define your brand and your service. I write fresh, brand-building content that tells your story.
Whatever your product or service, you need to market it in order for people to know about it. You have to tell your story, and your story comes from your brand, which is your heart. That’s where I come in.
I am a freelance writer who has written extensively about music and musicians, particularly jazz. But that’s not all I can do. I have worked for a number years as a veterinary technician and in the field of animal rescue, and I have a strong background in veterinary topics. Prior to that I worked for a large distributor of (human) medical books . I also maintain a blog entitled Eat a Tangerine with an audience of those interested in Buddhism, yoga, and mindfulness.
I’ve written blog posts, product descriptions, business letters, pamphlets, newsletters, short stories, poetry, reviews, and profiles, and something that’s occurred to me is that no matter what kind of writing we’re doing, there’s a story that needs to be told. The best way to get your story told and be sure it is supported by your marketing pieces, website, blog, and social media posts is to work with a professional writer who will help to craft your message and curate the written expression of your brand.
I have done writing as part of every job I’ve held and it’s something I enjoy doing. My work has appeared in print and online in publications that include Jazziz, Jazz Times, All About Jazz, About.com., Tiny Buddha, Rebelle Society, and Paste Magazine. Please visit my Portfolio page to view links to some of these as well as other work I’ve done, or request an email sample kit.
